Meet Our Founder
Alex Ferguson
/Founder & CEO
Prior to founding Activist Technologies, Alex worked for a decade in the political data and technology field. He served as Director of Business Development at The TARA Group and before that worked at REAL Strategies, TargetSmart, and Project Vote in a wide variety of roles.
He holds a B.S. in Business & Political Economy with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Alex, a native Washingtonian, spent his formative years living in Costa Rica, and is an avid surfer, music lover, and diehard Nationals and Commanders fan. He lives in Silver Spring, MD with his wife and their dog.

ActivistARC is the first step in our journey to build the world’s first Social Action Network: A platform that empowers ordinary people to connect, organize and take action around shared political and social ideals using a comprehensive set of civic engagement tools.
